Family Unity

Unity in the Family through Prayer

Who God is:

God is every where and He knows the very thoughts and intents of your hearts and His hand is always extended toward you in all the situations of your life and He is waiting for you to take it, so that He can bless you with the victories that you need in all that you go through.

Pro 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Isa 9:17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isa 10:4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Psa 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Job 34:21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
Job 34:22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Job 36:5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

Zep 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Psa 72:12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
Psa 72:13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
Psa 72:14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
Psa 72:15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

Psa 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Jer 32:40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
Jer 32:41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1Th 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Unity in the family through prayer.

God knows us:

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Isa 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Psa 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
Psa 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

Luk 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
Luk 1:42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

Mat 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Psa 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Psa 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.(Describes the DNA Molecule)

Psa 56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Luk 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Since God has known us from before the earth was made, then He knows who our children will be and who they will marry and the children that they will have and who they will marry.

1Co 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Isa 45:11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

Pro 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Would it not make sense then to pray for the children you will have and the people your children will marry and their parents, and their children, 2 or three times a day since the day you were born.
Think of it. Since before you were born, 2 or 3 times a day your grand parents and your parents pray for you, your siblings and your children to come and for the person you will marry and their parents and, that they will be filled with Gods love and have the grace and wisdom to love each other and you and that you all, will grow to be the person of God that God has called you to be; full of love for God and the person you will marry and your children to come and that the parents of the person you will marry, will be the people of God that God has called them to be, full of love for each other and their children and that they would be more than conquerors in loving each other, and raising their children to be the people of God that God has called them to be.

Imagine your children meeting the person their going to marry and their inlaws, in the warmth of their prayers for them, over the years, rather than the coldness of life.

The same Jesus that walked the face of the earth: healing the sick, raising the dead, fellowshiping with His heavenly Father, is the same Jesus that dwells within you, your spouse and your children.

Imagine your child coming home from school beaming with good news and Mom asks "whats up?" and your child tells, that they met the person that God revealed to them that they are going to marry and Mom responds and says "I knew that you where going to tell me something important and I believe you." Then Dad comes home and rejoices at the good news and says "God reavealed to me that I was to going to hear good news from you today!" and he believes his child did meet the person they are going to marry. (God confirms the word of His servants)

Isa 44:26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

Imagine sitting down with your child and the person their going to marry and their parents and the children share out of their prayer journals when God revealed to them who they are going to marry and the parents share when God asked them to intercede in prayer for each other over the years and you find out that you all prayed for each other in troubled times and that God answered your prayers for one another.

Imagine witnessing the birth of the children and grand children that God said you would have.

Imagine sitting down with your son and daughter with your prayer journal and revealing to them the date that God revealed to you of their birth and name and telling them that they are just as God's revealation, pictured them to be.

These are choices that you can make for your life, if you give your life, to God and seek Him every day, all day.

My grandfather on my Dad's side had 15 children. He could have had over 60 people praying for him and his wife and his children, but alas he did not a vision for prayer in the family. So instead of being delivered from his heart attack, by a praying family, he succumed to it and passed away at the young age of 56. My dad was 6 years old when he lost his dad and of course I never knew him. Its sad. My grandfather could've had over 60 people praying for him, every day, Satan would have come by and said that he wouldn't be able to get through the all the prayers for my granddad and would have moved on to easier pickens.

If my grandfather had lived, and was enjoying the prayers of his family, inlaws and the prayers of his grandchildren, in his latter years he would have had over a 120 people praying for him and his wife every day. In the day of their passing, he would have rented his church and gathered his family and friends and blessed them and kissed his wife for the last time and when they were enjoying the kiss, their children would have come to them and said Hey Dad!!! Yours and Mom's Ride !!! Its Here !!! and they would have stepped into the chariot and gone to be with the Lord.

If we as Christians pray for the people that our children will marry and their parents then truley the body of Christ will be united by prayer despite denominations.

Psa 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Psa 133:1 A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psa 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
